Pia called over 60 doctors and imaging clinics and was told she could be waiting up to eight weeks for a scan. Pia spoke to their family doctor who gave her a referral for an MRI. She took her to hospital where she waited six hours and was dismissed by doctors, despite temporarily losing some of her vision in that time. The family were camping, Evie had just had a growth spurt and was 'falling over' she also had a few headaches, but her parents were not worried as it had been hot.Įvie’s mum Pia noticed that Evie’s eyes were making irregular movements, flickering from left to right constantly without Evie being to control it. 'She keeps saying, tell everyone I can't die from this,' the mother said. Pia told FEMAIL Evie's positivity has been her fuel. 'We are also repeating 'Evie is healed' to keep us all positive and focused on the best possible outcome. 'We are constantly sending love and healing light to Evie's brain and visualising 'the thing' disintegrating,' she said. The whole family, including Evie's little brother Sunny and sister Elsie, will be 'living at the hospital' for as long as they can.Īnd while they have accepted the horrific diagnosis they aren't giving up all hope.
